As the only special education school in the District of Columbia to receive full
accreditation from the Middle States Association Commission on Secondary Schools
(MSA/CSS), the mission of City Lights Public Charter School is to educate and provide
effective programs for emotionally disturbed adolescents, ages 14 to 22, so that
each student is ready academically, vocationally, emotionally and socially to succeed
in school and adult life.
